Setup Email on your Phone / Outlook

How do I configure my email program or mobile device to use your POP Email service?

To configure an email program (e.g., Outlook, Mac Mail) or mobile device (e.g., iPhone, Blackberry) to use our POP Email service, please use the following settings.

Account Type/Protocol: Choose either POP3 or IMAP. The main difference between POP3 and IMAP is that with IMAP, all the email messages stay on the server.  This setting is preferred if you're using multiple devices to check your email, but you are responsible for  deleting email off the server to stay below your storage limit.

Incoming Mail Server mail.yourdomain.com

Incoming Port: 110 for POP, 143 for IMAP

Security: Select one of the following: Auto,  SSL  or STARTTLS

Outgoing Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.com

Outgoing Port (SMTP): 587

Security  Select one of the following: Auto,  SSL or STARTTLS  If when you enable SSL on the "Outgoing server (SMTP)", changes port number, just change it back to 587.

When you turn this on with some cell phones it will change the port to 465, that is OK, you can use 465 on your cell phone.

Username: [full e-mail address] Password: [password for e-mail account] The username and password must be used for both the incoming and outgoing mail servers.

SMTP Authentication : This option must be enabled.  If prompted, select "password" as the authentication type. Use the username and password above.

Secure Password Authentication (SPA):You can enable this option, if available. If you have problems this  must be disabled.

Webmail can be accessed at webmail.yourdomain.com

Username is your email address.

Password is your assigned password.

Make sure you replace yourdomain with your actual domain name.
